How we look after your personal information.
Contact details
Your phone number, email address, collection address and contact person details stay hidden until a food opportunity is assigned, and are then shared only with the provider and the assigned recipient.
Reporting data
Anonymous recovery data is kept for operations, governance, accountability reporting and funding. Records already used in official reports are not deleted.
Retention
The retention period and legal basis under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 are to be confirmed before launch.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting info@refood.org.
